Adria Bank  concentrates on business with Corporates and Financial Institutions.

The bank’s regional focus is on South-Eastern Europe, in particular on the markets of Slovenia and Croatia, where the Adria Bank has long standing expertise in providing expert financing solutions to local business.

Adria Bank was founded in 1980 as a consortium Bank by Yugoslav and Austrian banks.

In 2007 a material change in the ownership structure took place. Nova Kreditna banka Maribor which previously had held 25.4 % of Adria Bank acquired the majority and since April 2007 controls 50.54 %. This was the first time that Adria Bank had a controlling shareholder. Adria Bank is now member of NKBM-Group, Slovenian’s second largest banking group.

The other shareholders of the bank are Nova Ljubljanska banka (28.46 %) and Beogradska banka (21 %).
